The Lake Villa Library is located on Grand Avenue east of Route 45. The library was began by the 
Men's Club of Lake Villa in August of 1949 in a side room of the Village Hall. The library has been moved a few times since then, but the Lake Villa District Library proudly calls a 60,000 square foot building on Grand Avenue at Deep Lake Road home.
